Is anyone familiar with Carbon Method and their Carbon Coating for cast Iron? Saw it mentioned a couple times on FB. I have some new machines and was thinking of giving it a try.
I did it last year on three machines (table saw, jointer, and planer) for one of my customers...Last I heard from him, the finish is holding up and no rust...as with most things, preparation is key the to success.
Saw an objective test. Winner was paste wax. Of course, how "objective" the test was would always be questioned on You-Tube. Other than cost, don't see a down side.
Phil, Nice B. I had a 64 roadster and 74 GT. Now a Stab. Not too bright I guess.
I've asked a few that have tried it and it seems to be leaps and bounds beyond paste wax. I'm giving it a try. This is one of the guys that tried it about a year ago. Spoke with him on sawmillcreek.org
