Check out Sunhill Machinery web site. They have the Byrd spiral cutterhead on sale for $149.00. They give a list of machines it will fit, or call them if your machine isn't listed. At this price ALL can afford to upgrade their jointer.

Jim, I'm curious where you saw that price -- I looked at their site and the current sale price for Byrd shelix cutterheads for 6" jointers is $318.50 and $415 for 8" models. Still good prices.

They do in fact list the 6" Jointer SPIRAL upgrade for 149.00, unfortunately the 6" helical is 318.00 which is still better than their regular 365.00
