Wow, that's a steal for some old arn like that. I paid $300 for my 6" jointer, but alas the 3-phase power does make it difficult. Everybody I know with 3-phase capability already has something comperable...maybe they're on to something :eusa_thin:eusa_thin

My first thought was to replace the 3 ph motor----------put that flat belt pulley on a single phase motor.

That would be the way to go. $425 for that jointer and then get a 3 or 5HP motor and it would be SWEEETTT!
