I just adopted (friend shutting down his shop) a large assortment of finished jigs. Problem is the mitre bars do match my mitre slots; however, the kerf slot does not match the blade positioning.
Can I simply remove the mitre bars and reposition them; or will I have to start from scratch salvaging the mitre bars and fixtures. Assortment includes: Crosscut sled, 45degree angle sled; spline jig; :dontknow:and others. All using INCRA parts. Thanks for your advice. Tim

Without seeing these jigs - and so I am answering "blind" - I'd say yes, you can move the miter bar so the kerf lines up.

Thanks. My plan is to remove the bars; place them in slots with double sided tape; line up kerf slot over saw blade and mark position for new bars. Remove tape and drill holes and screw based on marks made. Then check with square and adjust fence as required. Does this plan sound good for the Cross cut sled?
