A lot of work 1/2 saved

Laminated black wood and aluminum bullet pen with rhodium kit. It took sometime to do this glue up and when 1/2 failed I had to do something with the other half :BangHead: These pictures do this pen no justice but are better the first set :slap: I

I heard that you were trying that. How did it turn with the aluminum in it? It's a shame that it blowed up on you, but sometimes a wild pen barrel is best contrasted with something not as wild. Cool none the less :eusa_clap :eusa_clap

The aluminum turned fine:icon_thum with SHARP DAMHIKT tools ( no supper glue needed :rolf: ). But did not hold to the black wood that great :BangHead: :BangHead: even roughing up both pieces. It would hold in some places and not others I even wiped all pieces with DNA before glue up. If and when I try this again I will use epoxy. I did not want to use it this way I did but could not trash all that work :slap:
