15" Spalted Ambrosia Maple Natural Edge Bowl

This is a piece that almost met Mr. Bandsaw. It was a rough first turn that was...well - pretty rough. But with some patience and very careful negative rake scraper work....I got it in shape enough to start sanding.

Do you think the bark will fall off at some point?
No the bark is well adhered. This piece is completely dry- and before I started the finish turn and sanding, I dribble thin CA all along the line where the bark meets the wood to help insure it stays in place.

Nice bowl. Love the shape. Never used Tried and True on my turnings. Is that a tung oil? I mostly use Mahoney's walnut oil.
