Miter saw tolerance
What kind of tolerance do you get from your miter saw? I have a new Makita sliding compound saw. I have been trying to adjust it to make a 90 degree cut. But, the best I can get is .005 from one side of the blade, and .010 from the other. The cuts are less than 90 , from both sides , so I can't...- Tim Sherwood

Drawer slide tolerance question
Most of the slides I've looked at quote a 1/2" spacing on each side. A few have 1/2" + 1/32", although the description on one says standard 1/2" spacing. I'm confused by the extra 1/32" - does each side require 17/32", or is there 1/32" of slop in the slide?- Dan Bowman

Zero tolerance insert fine tuning
I just put the zero tolerance insert in my table saw and it won't sit flat. I can get the front flush with the top of the table but, the back left is low and if I bring it up flush then the front sits high and doesn't even touch. This is the Craftsman 10' that had the rusty top. My question...- MikeH
