I am interested in the Thomas Day nesting table, wish that I got the pattern
when it was on display at the Raleigh museum.

I thought that I would post a few images that I took last week. They are of a shoot of a Woodwright Shop episode on Thomas Day. It is to air in December. Roy is a real hoot We had a great time. The house shown is up in Caswell County. it also has a a cool duplex slave cabin.

This afternoon I visited the NC Museum of History and saw the Day exhibit. He was quite a woodworker who used mostly maghogany veneer over poplar and pine. He also used walnut on occasion but mahogany veneer seemed to be his mainstay.. It's amazing what he could do with hand tools. They have...
