    Gnome Forest

    My grandson, Dexter, and the new Gnome Forest. 4 total pieces, all dogwood. The base is 1/2 of a Dogwood root ball. The forest is 7 inches wide and 6 inches tall. My Son and Daughter-in-law think Dexter looks like a gnome. I have to agree, but he is the cutest gnome i have ever seen!

    Salt & Pepper Mushrooms

    Cherry Burl Mushroom Box

    Cherry burl mushroom box. From burl I harvested last winter. Stands 4" tall. Cap (lid) is 5-1/4" diameter. Finished in semi-gloss Arm-R-Seal.

    Mushroom box?

    There was a challenge on one of the other turning sites so I turned this for it. I've made some like this in the past. This one is turned from a piece of apple. It is 5" inches tall. It makes for a shallow box but puts a different twist on a mushroom. Thanks, Jack imageimage imageimage
