Critter holes in cherry.....

Knot holes
Im looking for a clear epoxy knot hole filler. I want to be able to fill the knot holes flush and then apply a varnish on top. I want to be able to see all the knots and imperfections so i do need to keep it clear but i need to color the first layer so you cant tell it is a veneer (1/4 ")... -
Cutting holes in perfectly good wood again
I just can't seem to resist cutting holes in perfectly good wood :lol: Here is this weekend's project. Worm holes in rough sawn oak, what to do?
Last August had a lot of fun slabbing oak into lumber. It has been a year now and I am looking at bringing it into my basement to further season. I noticed that there are small worm holes on the edges of some of the boards but not really on the board faces. This leads me to several questions... -

Advice on 3" holes in 3/4 plywood
What would be your advise on drilling 3" holes in 3/4 in plywood. Forstner bit or Hole saw. Keeping in mind that this may end up being quite a few holes. Let me explain...
