Body Closeup

This is a closeup of the body after finishing with the electronics installed. I used a hand rubbed Tru-Oil finish and it really brought out the beauty of the mahogany. Not as durable as lacquer but pretty darn nice looking if I do say so myself!

This is the unfinished headstock. I used a Honduras mahogany core with a single Purpleheart veneer for the face and a Purpleheart/Maple/Purpleheart veneer sandwich for the rear.
