Pics of Guitar

I put some pics of the last guitar that I built quite a while back in my gallery. What is sort of unique about it is the one and a half inch rise in the back.It's not carved but rather soaked in baking soda solution, steamed, and pressed in a two part mold. As far I know, I'm the only one crazy...

cut out guitar body on a bandsaw

hi... i have an electric guitar body all glued up and ready to be cut out, but i don't have a band saw, anyone on here help me out with or know of a place in raleigh that could do that would be very much appreciated? the body is a little over 2" thick (1 3/4" mahogany 5/16" hard maple, which...

Guitar Fretboard Pen

Hi All... I brought this pen to Woodguy's, but am just now getting around to posting it. The pen is fashioned to resemble a fretboard. I used macassar ebony to give it a similar appearance. The 'frets' are cut from aluminum flashing and the dots are cut from abalone shell. I cut the shell...

Commissioned guitar stool

I have a friend that has asked me to make a stool for her husband to sit on when he plays guitar. It will have a back on it and I was wondering if anyone had plans or suggestions on where to look for ideas.
