New Mantle

This is a built from scratch mantle made of 3/4" finger jointed poplar using pocket hole joinery. Moulding on shelf is my design and run on my router table. All other moulding is either small or large base cap, and the fluted pilasters are done with custom run moulding from New Home Building Supply. Finish is multiple coats of latex semi-gloss. Hearth is 1" black honed granite.
