The 4 pieces shown, foreground to rear, are the keyed body in Honduras Mahogany, the separator/chanter in teak, the bass bar of 3/4" drawn brass tubing, and the cap of 7/8" tube with a Brazilian rosewood decorative top mounted by a maple stud. The keys are in the style of the maker Brennan. The keys have been sprung with coil springs, as the hot summer weather is not conducive to pounding brass over an anvil to make flat springs; I may replace them with flat springs when the cooler fall weather arrives.
