Can you imagine the neighbors when you fire this up ......... This is a Beast to say the least

Doesn’t take long sitting on bare earth to make a lot of rust.

Those Newman planers (and others of that vintage) are actually relatively quiet at idle. Cram a 20" wide glue up in when the blades are really dull and its a different story.
