September 2016 Contest - Carving

Time to sharpen those carving chisels and whittling knives. Let's see you best carvings or pieces incorporating carvings that you've done yourself. In the round or relief carvings of all kinds are welcome. As usual the members will vote on which one is the best at the end of the month.

Well we only had one entry in the carving contest last month so by default macdaddy wins this months contest. Please contact our treasurer, Michael Mathews to give him instructions what to do with your $25 prize.

And thanks for entering - that's a very nice relief carving. Lots of detail and great surface finish.
