To Robert and the Scholarship Committee--In the long run I think it is best that the selection process and administration process be handled by the college's foundation. This is their job, and they are the pros at it.

I would like to see one requirement of the students: they must join NCWW and keep us posted on their work and progress. This communication on the NCWW website will raise awareness of the scholarship program and provide encouragement to members to contribute to the scholarship fund. We can waive the student's joining fee. I volunteer to meet with each recipient and give them suggestions and guidance on what NCWW want to know about them, their work, and their aspirations.

The scholarship, that was setup, will fund (2) Students for (2) Semesters. For this first venture into scholarships, the Board selected an amount of $500 per student, per semester. In total, thats a $2000 commitment from this group.
Wiley, see Robert's comments, so those selected should receive $1000 total.
