No, not the fish kind with pretty shells, the kind you see between the posts underneath the elevated deck (think Italian villa). If anyone has done this (put scallops between the posts) I'd love to hear your DAMHIKT stories, as well as what material and methodology you used. I'm leaning toward ~1/2" exterior plywood, double primed, two latex topcoats, sandwiched with PT 1X4 along the arc. Span is 8' between supports, thinking of using a 72" arc and cutting arcs with router and radius arm. Suggestions?
