Sawmill Services

NC Woodworkers,

I'm a forestry student at NCSU and run a sawmill part-time. I did an apprenticeship with a reputable mill in Carthage, NC, as a military transition process. I have been milling for myself for approximately 1.5 years.

This is a helpful forum and I'd like to avoid junking it up with marketplace type ads. For example, I intend to sign up for the sharpening class at NCSU I found here once I get the scheduling update from my better half.

What is the appropriate way to go about marketing my services on these forums, to include green lumber/slabs.

Thanks,
Tim

Thank you for being respectful Tim.

we will get back to you with ad rates by next week if not sooner.

Also we can add you on the sawyers list - I need to figure out who has that now and will connect you.

I'll add you to the Sawyer's map. PM me your address, phone, email, max milling capacities, and are you mobile or fixed or both? Do you offer kiln-dried hardwood? If so or when you do I'll add you to the Lumber Dealers' map.
There is also a kiln operators' map and a Wide Board Service (leveling/sanding) map.
