Oak Burl for sale

We recently had a tree cut down and saved the burl in case someone wanted to buy it. We are in Sanford, NC

How big is the burl? Please provide a rough diameter so we can gauge. Thanks.

Hi! It’s about 16 inches high and from outside edge to outside edge it’s about 18-20 inches wide. As you can see the

The diameter of the main trunk is approximately 11 inches.

Looking at your pictures that is an oak tree and not a maple.

How much are you asking for it? A green burl is typically worth about $1/lb, Dried burls start at around $3/lb.

I have no idea how much it weighs. My husband says it’s heavy as he can’t pick it up by himself. How does $75 sound? It was recently cut so it’s not yet dried.
