Non-working Dewalt 788 Scroll Saw For Parts $100 OBO
I've been looking for a scroll saw for the last few months. I thought I would try to get one using an online auction service that buys customer returns from Lowes and HD (among other places). Yeah. I know that can be a crap shoot but I thought it was worth a try.
Anyway, I won an auction for one and it's non-functional I think due to a electrical cord that's mostly pulled off of it, missing some parts like the worklight and the stabilizing foot and at least a few screws. I was trying to get something functional to start to make things so it's not worth it to me to try to diagnose and fix. So I'm selling it for parts. Not sure of what the interest would be but thought enough folks here are using them that it might be worthwhile trying to recoup some of what I spent, for someone to have a parts machine. The table and the saw structure appear fine (with paint chips and missing whatnot).
