LaserSaber Hilt blanks

I went today to lowes and the red and blue they have only in 20ft sections however, they appear to have an inside lining that is black. I noticed on the coils of pex did not have this black lining. I am thinking the black will prevent the light, so can we use the colored straight stock vs coils?

Just recounted, 53 but some do not work so call it 50

I just picked up two of the 8-packs from Big Lots that I'll bring along Saturday morning when I come over.

If anyone else near RTP wants tp pick up some to donate, the Big Lots where I found them is in the shopping center at the intersection of NC-54 and NC-55. They are located in the store near the back right side where all the cheap tools are, on a top shelf. If you want you can drop them off at my shop about 2 miles from there towards Apex and I'll take them all over to Phil Saturday. PM for directions if you decide to do this.
