How is the new Hardwood store of NC?

I wasn’t able to make the opening either but did visit prior. The wood supply is good, but they don’t carry rough sawn - everything is skip planed. So still no good source for rough in the area, though I’ll probably ask if they can ship some down from the Gibsonville store. I just prefer to mill my own and am still amazed how much easier it was to get rough in CA when we lived there than here.

The people were very friendly and helpful, and I’ll definitely go back.

Kluttz in Concord has slabs out the wazoo. Check the resources tab for a map with lots of options for smaller suppliers:
