When you look at a Tormek, and how it is built, less than $100 would be a fair price. It is a very simple machine. As for stones, King (as in King water stones) makes a replacement stone.

bought one a month ago , paid 79.00 for mine with coupon reg price 109.00 has worked out well for me and accessories are available on their website to sharpen turnoing tools , etc.
