Have a 48 inch willow oak that needs to come down now

It would be a shame for this great tree to go to waste. I am not a woodworker (yet). Building in Wake Forest. Does anyone know how I can sell the timber so that it is put to good use?

There are lots of mobile sawyers around. You could always have one come out and cut the trunk into lumber for you to use later. It will take a year or so to dry out, so if not a wood worker now, in a year or two when you are ready... so will your lumber!
