As I don't want to drill holes in the side of my Bedrock, I whipped up this proof of concept to see if there was another way. Seems to work. Big flange furniture bolt and of course it should go into a threaded insert but I did not have one. The cutout fits very snug. I saw another concept that use a magnet to hold it in place. Not convinced.
Bulky compared to others, but gives me better down force to maintain the plane side flat on the board.
