We can approach this a number of ways. One is to have a workshop and try to mass produce several or at least start several, but this would be limited geographically. Or we can provide general guidelines and let each person work on their own at their own pace, using pony express to get them to some central distribution location. Or we can be very specific about exact materials, etc in order to have a more standardized product that can be laser engraved, etc.
Given the size of these they would likely fit into a fixed rate USPS priority mail box of some sort. This would be worth considering in the final design.
These are just some of my random thoughts and not meant to take away from the initiative of the original poster, Bruce, in his efforts to organize and plan this.
It seems several Board members are already interested in this worthy cause, having volunteered, and so you should have our full support. As this progresses, let us know what help we can provide.
