Charlotte Lumber Source

Hello everyone - I am looking for a new hardwood lumber source in the Charlotte area. I have used Wall Lumber a lot in the past but they are a two hour drive and I was hoping to find someone closer with similar or cheaper prices. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks

Jim, the Hardwood Store of NC has just opened a store in Salisbury, at the Peeler Road exit.

When Rick had The Moulding Source he used to sell wood, not sure if the new owner does that any more...

I maintain this database of kiln-dried hardwood suppliers that sell to home woodworkers without a business license. Save the map in Google maps and anytime I update it you have the most recent version. Master NC Retail hardwood lumber dealers.
Kluttz in Concord has an excellent choice and very decent pricing. NC Hardwood is opening a second store in Salisbury next week. Both publish their pricing.

I think they are only opening on Monday the 29th - but call, maybe this it just an "official" opening?
