Adjust the speed of a WEN oscillating spindle sander ?

Hello All

Is there a way of adjusting the speed of the motor in a WEN oscillating spindle sander M# 6524?

Many of my projects would benefit from a slower speed.

There are several methods - but... the caveat here is that you may need to change out your motor. This might be worth a try (there are others though): Amazon.com
