Gloat or goat?

Found this Stanley #40 this morning at my local flea market store for the grand sum of $45. Is that too much for a good scrub plane? I don't think I'll spend much time tuning this one, it's pretty much ready to go.

Jet JJP12-Tool GOAT

This tool is wonderful. Quiet, no vibration, switches between jointer and planer in seconds and the coplaner, and cutters were perfectly set right out of the crate.
