ferrule

Plumbers Ferrule on Tool Handle

I know Ive seen someone use a plumbers ferrule on tool handles they've made. What was the steps to go about it....holding it, shaping it for use etc...I could experiment and figure it out but I know you guys have done it a zillion times and know the ends and outs of it...Thanks !

Anbody want to get in on an order for ferrule material?

Now that I've joined the ranks of folks with "spinny thingys...", I'm thinking about making some lathe tool handles as well as chisel handles with the new Delta 46-460. So... I'm also thinking about material for ferrules. I've worked with Copper before, but am thinking about ordering either...
