    suggestions for a 3 1/8 inch hole

I am working on project which requires a 3 1/8 hole. I have a 3 1/8 inch forstner bit, but no drill press. Do have a 1/2 inch power drill that works so-so with the big hole drilling, but using a 1 1/2 forstner bit works better-just have to make more holes. Wondering if I should use a plunge...

    1/8 inch Red Oak Plywood

I am looking for a quarter or half sheet of 1/8 inch red oak plywood. Is there a local source in Raleigh/Durham? I can go a 1/4 inch if I have too. Thanks, Ron Johnson Durham
