Harbor Freight Bandsaw

I was at the Kannapolis Harbor Freight today and they had this saw on special for $300. Has anyone had any experience with this or could you point me to someone who has. Whats your opinion on this? 14" 4 Speed Woodworking Bandsaw 2" Dust Collector Hook-up You won't find a better value...

Boat building/ Kayak info

Is there anyone that might be able to give me any insight in building a wood strip kayak. Maybe you built one or know someone that has. I'm in the Statesville area and want to get started on one this spring Thanks
