I spotted this on CL:

1940 Craftsman planer

It looks like a very nice restoration. Interesting choice of color.

I don't know much about these other than I don't believe they have a feed mechanism. You push the wood in then pull it out the other side.

It seems like it would also have a jointing effect, although the table is pretty short.

I ran one of these at a job I had in the 80s. For certain things it works great.
I wouldn't mind having one but no where near that price.

The color looks like 1967-1978 ford engine blue, or Emglo Blue.

He must really like that blue. He has this for sale too and note the band saw in the background.

When you get a gallon of surplus blue paint you have to use it on EVERYTHING...

Saw those last night too (both machines are also listed in another ww/tool site)

I doubt he’s getting what he has time wise into them for that asking price—but that price seems high for both of those.
