Just my opinion. You would have to also buy the track for another $75 plus shipping and the saw is marginally powered with inferior lithium technology. These batteries use the A123 cells that have not faired well in life cycle test, the lithium polymer (lipo) are much better.
Track saws are great but if you are going to spend close to $400 I think you should spend another Ben Franklin and get a Festool

Phil is my go to guru on expensive tool buys! His knowledge and working exptertise is invaluable.

I did not see the "fine print" as to not including track, whereas Festool does.

However, Festool does not offer a cordles version of their tool.

Corded is always superior to cordless, however, cordless does have some advantages.

I was not aware of DeWalts battery technologies shortcomings.

When I researched track saws, Nobody but Festool included any track. That was among Makita, Dewalt and Festool. Adding track made all the prices about equal, so I went to the Fatherland.
