I was looking at some spots on some wood I was working on, and was just amazed. I took some pictures of various spots and cut and pasted them together. It's like natures artwork. Then I thought, wow, this might be a good way to figure out a pattern on a cutting board or something?

Could be sycamore or cherry.
nice pattern, but I don’t think you will find exact duplicate of grain pattern in so many pieces.

Give that man a cigar. It’s cherry, and yes, a couple of them are copies. It just reminds me of some 70’s psychedelic art. Where’s Peter Max when you need him?
