    Looking for Maple

    Anyone know where I can get soft Maple close to Lexington NC? Looking for 2.5*2.5 to make legs and 1*3 to make the skirt for a display table. Thanks

    Me and granddaughter went up to Glenn's place, very nice guy and some great wood

    Let us know what you think of it (machinability, hand planing, etc). I've never used hard maple but have experimented with soft maple (red maple).
