RDU CL - Ridgid 14" Band Saw - $150 (Cary, NC)
not mine, not endorsing
I seem to recall that this particular BS had some sort of frequent failure or 'design flaw', but that may be wrong entirely. Do your research.

condition: good
make / manufacturer: Ridgid
model name / number: BS14002
I'm clearing out a few tools from my shop to free up some room. It has a ½" blade on it now and comes with two more blades - 1/4" and 1/8".
It's a good saw for the price. I'm asking $150.

Re: RDU CL - Ridgid 14" Band Saw - $150 (Cary, NC)
My dad has this saw and his copy had a couple of issues.
The motor pulley was badly out of plane with the drive pulley and needed a lot of adjustment to keep it from throwing / shredding belts.
The knob for adjusting the blade guide height is threaded into pot metal and it broke. I was able to retap a bigger hole to make it work.
That said, $150 seems like a good price for a working saw if you're willing to put up with some issues.

Sam, There are a couple generations of this saw. I’d be curious about exactly which version your dad has.
FWIW, maybe the differences are why the seller posted the model and serial number.

I’m not sure. His doesn’t sound that old.
The warranty didn’t cover the broken parts?
