Put me down.
I like making things. I have a wood shop at home. I am a terrible carpenter but I love doing it. Raymond - Charlotte, NC

If I count correctly I am #4. I have had the bourguignon before and it was wonderful.

The first address is the beginning of planning and shaping a workshop at Bill Clemmon's place in Liberty. You can get an idea of the planning stages.
The second address is Bill's photo album he created for the cutting gage class. You can see how the attendees "worked together" to get things done. I was impressed with their initiative.
I don't think any of the folks who came to Bill's shop would mind if you sent along a PM or just asked here what they thought of the class and what to maybe bring along to make it even better.
Hope this helps your decision schedule

Re: Cutting Gauge Workshop II - Raleigh - August 25 - Signup here
I'd have to say if you have any interest in this tool then it totally worth your while to do this workshop. I had no need for this marking gauge but did have an interest in meeting with other woodworkers and sharing as a group the experience. I work in isolation professionally and as a hobby, so getting out and working with others is a real treat. Not only that, I laided this gauge in my tool tray and I'm finding that I'm using it really more often than I thought I would. It's a solid marking gauge. Hand tools to bring along, small straight blade screw drivers, mill files, wood rasps, card scraper, cordless drill, small center punch (I dislike drifting drill bits), a small selection of drill bits below the 3/16", a scratch awl, and a team spirit. Not to mention Phils cooking is really good. And the real kicker after all of that you get the patient guidance of Dan (danmart77). He is very accomplished woodworker with vast experience. I enjoyed the workshop very much, and I believe you will as well.
Nothing beats a try but a failure, failure is an opportunity to learn.
