    It's not much ... but it's a start

    Finally!

After years of longing for some sort of (semi) dedicated space, I now have somewhere I can turn perfectly good pieces of wood into scraps and sawdust.

I will rearrange things as time goes on and I get more tools but this will do for now.

Those 240V 30A outlets are just begging for something to be plugged into them

I also need to look into storage, but I'm going to take my time and see how it works as a space before putting stuff on the walls, etc.

Great start Paul, is it all going to be a dedicated woodshop space or shared with vehicles?

It's a 3 bay garage so the end bay will be 'mine' and the other two will be for cars, bikes, etc.

Although we may just leave the cars outside and get that table tennis table we've always wanted ...

Like you said, "Its a start." My first (of 7) shops was an upstairs bedroom in a 100 year old house.
I'll gladly tell you how I do something. Just please don't confuse that with the right way to do it, and almost certainly not the only way.

Congrats - looks good so far. Yep, 240 outlets need something to plug into them.

You can fit everything you need in that space, with careful planning. Many years ago, I had to sell off my really good machines and replace them with bench top stuff, due to the confines of the house we bought. I am still somewhat amazed at what I was able to build with those cheap machines. My current workshop boasts much more substantial machinery today. It's all a progression.

Down with that sort of thing.
The thing that holds up all my woodworking is simply getting started.

Are we talking Felder combination machine, or what? TS, Jointer, planer and shaper in a mobile package. It's only logical. (Tell your wife that.)

You know... with a cover, a folding tennis table can double as an assembly/finishing table. Toy for the family, free tool for you!

Nice garage!! It does look quite clean. Look forward to seeing your scrap. I will post some pictures of my new shop as soon as i get authorized to do more on the site. Sorry kinda a little frustrating when I cannot do things.
Measure 2 times then a 3rd time and . So maybe i'll stick with measuring 2 times. My not so updated page at https://www.facebook.com/J127Woodworks/
