    Handsaw storage ideas?

I have a new handsaw on order and don't have decent handsaw storage in my garage. It currently consists of various nails wherever there was a little free space. I would appreciate some ideas on handsaw storage. If your idea happens to include planes - even better.

    Thanks,
    Geoff

The best I saw came with my Japanese saw. Camilla oil and a scabbard.
I used some old firehose to make covers for a few of my better saws. If you do something like that make sure you coat the saw with a light non-staining oil as any cover will hold moisture to the metal.
(non-staining as you don't want to goof up a piece of wood with it dang it)

This is what you really need.... so you can get more saws to fill it up.

    Re: Handsaw storage ideas?

Geoff: I have several pictures of a wall hung cabinet that includes saws and hand planes. However, they are in a Microsoft Word document, and I don't know how to attach a Word doc to this post. If you want to see them, please send me a PM w/ your regular email address and I'll send it to you.

I'll gladly tell you how I do something. Just please don't confuse that with the right way to do it, and almost certainly not the only way.
