Woodturning class

There is a 3 day wood turning class scheduled at the NCSU Craft Center starting June 8 and finishing up June 10.
Will be turning a maple salad bowl and the salad utensils (bowl turning and spindle turning). $125 for the 3 day class.
Our own NCWW Jim Wallace will be teaching the class.

Thanks for posting this, David. I should have done this, but I was under the impression that the class had filled. It turns out that there are still some openings.

I think this will turn out to be an enjoyable weekend. I've prepared some very pretty red maple blanks for everyone to turn. We are going to go from a green blank to a finished bowl in one go. We also plan to make a serving set (spoon and fork) from the same wood. Here are a couple of pictures of 2 bowls I turned a few weeks ago from the same tree.
