Wondering how to sell some tree's

I just found this site looking around the net and I hope some of you guys can help me answer a question I have.As the title states I'm wondering how I can sell some trees I have,I'm local to the Charlotte area.I met someone that sold his trees around the area of lake Norman but I since lost his contact info and I have no idea who around here buys trees.I have a few acres with maybe 3 types of tree's many of these trees are huge-about 50-60 feet tall.

I think your best bet is to contact the dept. of forestry----------they will send a forester out to evaluate what you have and advise you on how to get the most from your timber.

LT, I would not get your hopes up too high, as there may not be many folks interested in harvesting 3 acres of timber. It is difficult for them to make a profit primarily because of the cost for mobilizing their equipment in to the site, versus the relatively low revenue.
