Which Moisture Meter To Buy?

My "yardsale special" moisture meter bit the dust. It seams to me I've read a few posts pro and con about meters. I don't have any first hand experience with whats available nowadays so I was going to call upon you good folks to recommend. I usually buy KD material so meter use is not an everyday occurance. That being said, I wasn't looking to break the bank on this but on the other hand I don't like buying junk either.

Any recommendations??

Personally, I have two cheapos ... one from eBay and one from Woodcraft. Both are good and actually fairly accurate when compared with very expensive ones ... BUT both use prongs that you have to poke into the lumber.

I would prefer to spend a couple bucks one day and get the Wagner one with no pins. They actually have a couple models now, and one is around $150, I think ... which isn't too bad considering I have $70 tied up in the two I have today combined.

And if you don't want to spend that much ... PM me and I'll part with one of mine.

I like my Wagner pinless but I don't have any experience with the others.
