Hopefully better pictures this time. The pictures of this just sanded are washed out. This picture the wood is wet (no stain). I found this board in my barn. Sure it has been there at least 10 years. There was only one board and it had cherry written on the end. This does not look like any cherry I have ever used.

Really should take a better picture- It is washed out (over exposed) and blurry.

are you asking "what" it is or what kind of wood it is? It would be good to include a side photo! To me it looks like........wood!

I commented only on the wood in the photo. That's obviously a finished piece and not raw wood in board form.
Honduras mahogany is semi ring porous sort of like walnut. Ring porous woods will have much larger pores like Luaun mahogany, ipe, and many of the eucalyptus species.
Honduras mahogany is also a little softer and lighter than cherry and a little harder than poplar.
