Thank you everyone for all of your help, encouragement and suggestions in helping me sell our shop tools!
The last big piece of machinery (The AVID PRO6060) was picked up today!
While it has been a bittersweet process, I feel so grateful that everything has seemingly gone to great new homes where it will be well used and appreciated and I am thankful to have met and worked with many of you from NCWW.
I also wanted to share a few pics of the Las Setas in Seville Spain (pics aren't mine) that we were able to visit on a recent trip!
Las Setas, officially named Metropol Parasol, is recognized as the world's largest wooden structure, a massive, wavy timber canopy covering a public square, featuring underground ruins and rooftop walkways, providing shade and panoramic city views. Designed by Jürgen Mayer and built with 3,500 pieces of Finnish pine, it's famous for its unique mushroom-like shape and innovative use of materials like high-strength resins, connecting contemporary architecture with historical discoveries.
I found it both beautiful and fascinating and thought some of you might too.
