For those waterlox users out there. Can you guys provide any information on how you typically apply it.

I really like the finish that Steve D obtained on his cherry countertop. If someone can help me out let me know. How many coats, what formula, all that good stuff.

I used a soft cotton rag and wipe it on. First 2 coats I put on fairly heavy, the rest I put on real thin. I sand very lightly between coats and usually put 5 or 6 coats on.

Can't really say if this is the right way or not, but it has worked for me for a lot of years.

I use one of the little foam blocks that I get at ACE Hardware for the sanding between coats. I used the light gray one, I believe it's labeled extra fine.

If I was to use regular sand paper I would probably use 320 or 0000 steel wool.
