Unisaw rebuild progress

After the MWTCA meeting in Hillsborough I picked up a '59 Unisaw from Jim C.(Bob,thanks for the help loading:eusa_clap). I've been working on it periodically. Here is a before pic

I had one little problem ,after I pressed in my bearings and put the arbor in I dropped the arbor bracket and broke the casting.:gar-Cr
fortunately I found one:gar-La; but it was not cheap.

Looking good! Cut anything on it yet?
Phillip, I never even fired it up when I got it home(I did here it run though)I just started to tear it down. It has the original 1 1/2HP repulsion/induction bullet motor that is getting an overhaul also.
Should be better than new when Im done

I'm happy she found such a good and loving home! Not to mention enough room to move around and do stuff.

Thanks for keeping us in the loop. These kind of old iron restorations are heartwarming.

Sorry to hear about the broken casting. I know how you must of felt. Didn't I remember you say you where taking a break from restoring after your last project? LOL LOL
