Turning antler

Folks, I need some advice here.

I have read of antler being turned as pen stock. Have any of you done it, and what advice can you offer?

I've been given several pieces of deer antler and have been thinking about trying this. Any advice is welcome.

I found an short (How-To) on turning antler on Penn State's website. While it gives you the needed info for turning the pens, it isn't very detailed. Also, I must agree with the others who have said to use a respirator. That is a must!!

Staple them to the floor of course! Although, I've heard that if you use enough CA glue, that'll do it as well.
