I mostly use Ben Moore or Lenmar pre cat mostly because they are the easiest to buy from where I am.

I use to be a Lenmar customer, but their CV failed on me twice and I find Sherwin Williams pre-cat is a lot more durable than Lenmar’s conversion varnish. Lenmar is easier to spray and easier to sand, but it is less scratch resistant, water resistant and the chemical resistance is questionable.

I wanted to try Sherman Williams but they only sell the water-based where I am
